Need help - transfer everything from old iphone to iphone6

Hi guys,

I am trying to use itunes to perform a backup from my old iphone 5 but it always get "stuck" even I let it run for hours.

Besides icloud and itunes, what 3rd party software or best method to able to transfer everything from old iphone to iphone6? I wish to transfer whatsapp, text, photos, voice memos too.

Any advice is appreciated. TIA.

whatsapp has its own back up function under settings

photos can directly transfer onto your pc then later manually add it back to your new iPhone.

as for sms I am afraid only back up via iTunes is feasible

voice memo not too sure on how to go about doing it....

if you wanna pay..then it will be via backupTrans app.

Strange was it doesnt show me the progress status %. Called up apple support but they have no idea.
I used to be able to perform backup or sync which was a few months ago.

hmm yr hdd could be dying. what about iCloud? tried that?

Just use iCloud to backup and then restore on your new phone. Easiest way.

Try deleting your old backup, it may be corrupted; after that back up again.

Few things u may check/do:
- is phone memory full
- using latest iTunes
- log out iTunes and relogin again
- log out iPhone Apple Store and relogin again
