Need help upgrading current pc

Any pros out there could give me advice on my current pc whether i should upgrade my current gig? i bought it 4-5 years ago, and im currently facing some issues such as blue screen,etc.

Windows 7
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570
8192MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660

I need the comp for gaming and video streaming usage. Any other information you need let me know! Thank you guys!

The blue screen will give you info as to the cause of the problem.

Looking at the specs provided (and assuming all parts are working), you just need a SSD and perhaps a GPU upgrade.

If you have not reinstalled Windows in the last five years, you should do a clean reinstall now (after backing up your data) or better yet, upgrade to Windows 10. Windows tend to get messed up over time.

GPU + SSD will suffice. Thats what I did. Using the i5-3470. there is really no damn reason why i should move to skylake. Maybe cannonlake...

but i always recommend samsung 850 EVO

won't recommend getting GPU now coz pascal coming out
