need help urgently on my new 3 day old problem gpu

hi , i bought a new gigabyte 760 3 days ago , i install the card on my mb and all seem ok , after that i reinstall window and everything including the provided driver in the box , i decided to test my new card on metro last light , after about 5 min , the game crash to window , i try again , and this time , my screen turn black and crash to window , so i think it a driver problem and i decided to roll back my old driver which should be ok , but when i install the driver , a msg popup saying NIVIDiA installer cannot continue , the graphic could not find compatible graphic hardware , i quickly went to the device manager and i was surprise to see that standard vga graphic adapter , where is my 760 go to ????

someone please help , what should i do now , is my card spoil if i call tradepac , will they replace the card for me

Make sure your graphics software has no conflicts.

Did u uninstall your old driver before installing the new one?

Another try taking out your gfx card and re-install back to the slot.

it was a fresh windows 7 install on my new ssd ,so no old driver , it was ok when i first install the card on my motherboard , and the gtx760 do appear on the display adapter on the device manager , and i manage to start the game metro last light too , but after the game crash ,the 760 on display adapter is gone , and thereafter , i cannot install any new or old driver now .btw , the driver is from the provided box , 320.18

Another try taking out your gfx card and re-install back to the slot

done that , same thing happen , but when i put in a old problem card , it was read by the display adapter correctly , so is my 760 dead , anyway to save it , hate to go back sls or the service centre , very far from my place

problem is window cannot detect the card now , so how to install the driver , btw , i put the problem card in another computer , same thing happen , the card was not detected by windows .

i think no , only the card is seal by Adhesive Tape , but card and box look brand new to me

You can go local distro to RMA the card. Dun worry lah bro. Local distro is here to help u

Try this.

Uninstall both the onboard graphics and the Nvidia drivers.

Next. Pluck out the gfx card.

Run in HDMI or Run in DVI cable thru onboard graphics and test. If it is working good.

Download the latest drivers from the Nvidia or Gigabyte website. Yes Download not use cd to install.

After which off everything and put in the gfx card to slot. Swap back the hdmi or DVI cable to gfx card. Power on.

Once boot up wait for the on screen installation. Probably windows will try to search for the gfx card compatibility online. But if can't means that it could be the card really faulty.

Next if windows can detect card then continue to proceed the installation of the downloaded drivers. Once done, do not restart. Just continue to reinstall the onboard drivers.

Once done reboot and see.

If all the methods still fails, then sayonara to distro for RMA.

of course have , as i said it a working new card at first but until the game crash to windows happen after five min of play from this new card , and i believe the rest of my system component should be fine as my windows can detect my other old card without problem , expect this new card .

u say u plug another gfx card is working. another nvidea card?
ur cpu mobo is amd? which chipset? driver issue? window issue?
u need to plug into another pc den u noe ur gfx card working or not.

If a dead card card, probably wun boot up. There is a display so no driver running e card. y no driver running, either some hardware issue , no pwer to drive, or driver not detect. driver not detect can be window not detect which can b bcos of bios issue.
Bios issue can b prob wif mobo and gfx, either too new, or a bios corrupt.either u clear bios again or check bios issue wif mobo and gfx card.

first , i thanks all bro who willing to help and reply on this thread
ok , the card is working on the first day when i bought it , after i install the card and boot window , the first thing i saw is window detect new hardware which is gtx 760 graphic card , the next step i do is install the driver from the cd , from the card provided which is 320.18 , after driver install ,i restart windows , after window restart , i run the game black ops 2 , graphic very nice , play it like 30 min , i quit the game , i did not run any game until the 3rd day since the card is working . on the third day after work , i on pc and load into window , i run a game call metro , this time the game crash into windows after 5 min of play , i try to run it again but this time but a blackscreen pop out and crash back to window again , so next i decided to remove the current driver and install other driver , after removing the driver and reboot window , i try to to install the last driver which i use on 570 ,but to my surprise , i cannot install as nividia say cannot continue as my graphic hardware is gone in the window system , i already try 5 driver , all same cannot detect card

so any kind bro here can tell me what really wrong with my card , is it really faulty , i did unplug the card to the other pc and it windows also cannot detect it as 760 , only detect it as a standard VGA hardware , wherelse the windows still can detect my 570 card when slot it on the pcie slot ,btw i still can load windows normally and there no any artifact on my window , i still can set my resolution to 1920 x 1080 ,but i cannot play any game now cos cannot install any driver at all , as for bio , i dont think it have any thing to do with it , all cpu fan , power fan , chassi fan are working normally and it bio should be on default one , i didnt change any except booting priority only , rest are default ,i did call the shop about this and they ask me to call on monday due to holiday . i really need to confirm card really faulty or not or else it will be hard to get a replacement , so kind bro here pls help if you experience this b4
