Need help: windows to go

Hi all fellow hardwarezone mates, have some queries which have been bothering me, hoping to get some help here
1)Is it possible to usewindows to go without any internal hard disk in the computer ?
2)It seems that the internal hard disk will go offline every time you boot from the usb flash, so is it 100% safe that no data( browsing etc.) will be saved to the HDD inside the comp?

You should be able to access your hdd inside your COMP.
Did you use any encryption software ?

You might want to do some googling for "Windows to Go with BitLocker"

Oh I mean I want to make sure nothing will be stored inside the HDD of happens that I have one inside, it says it'll be offline but is it safe to assume that nothing will be saved inside the HDD?
