Hi all I am a noob at building PC, was thinking of getting friends to help me build my PC. I need to know what are the parts you all recommend with a 1.2k budget (exclud monitor, mouse, keyboard but INCLUDING a 128/256GB SSB)

I've read excellent reviews about the MSI 270 graphics card, but how long would my pc last before I need a new upgrade if I play games like battlefield 4 on mid-high settings?

Hi I've just build my first rig today. 23/06/14. With the same budget as you . And the items were recommended by jian19 as well. But it's different compared to the ones he recommend you

2~3 years if you plan to play all the new games annually at high then slowly mid settings. But all of these are dependent on the game optimization, so hard to say

your recommended rig had a different graphics card and no SSD, so that's different. You build it yourself? Do the parts go well together?

I wanted to have SSD into my build but I decided to invest that money for better graphics and motherboard. So I've got powercolor 280x and b85-43g gaming motherboard. It crossed my budget by abit but I guess it's worth it. Furthermore if you intend to buy from tradepac currently they do not have super flower 500hx so they would recommend you CM 600W. They also ran out of stock for Crucial mx100 256GB. So I would get it next time from newegg or something

Yes i build it myself at first I thought those parts didn't match up because it was my very first time building a rig, and it took me 1hour 45 mins to fix it up. I did lots of research to make sure all the parts is compatible. So ya, turns out well .I will be testing my new rig this Saturday.
