so today i bought an asrockz97 killer board with a 4790k and i installed it all however i run into two problems. one is that i cant seem to get any sound from my mobo rear audio jacks and i cant figure out why. secondly i have a archer t4u usb wifi adaptor in my build and i thought that it would be a good adaptor but it seems like soomething is wrong since im getting really crap speeds on it. im confused, i installed the drivers already but it is still really bad help pls

Plug into green hole. Personally, I only trust Intel wifi stuff to be reliable. You can bet on Asus but there are considerable number of lemon sets out there

With regards to WiFi adapters, the best is to get one that has a cable that allows you to place the antenna such that it is not hidden. Brand does not matter as much.

Which is why I said personally. Because my friend ran into 2 consecutive lemon Asus sets having recommended him the highly-acclaimed PCE-AC68. Good design but rubbish QC can be affected by choice of brand as well. But you put it well regardless.
