Need help with DSLR 'dirty spot'

hi recently i took out my cannon 650D and use , but to my surprise when i took a picture , there is a dirt spot at all my pictures. slight smudge i would say but enough to spoil the entire photo.

i cleaned the lens with a spectacle cloth and the problem still occurs.
ask around and heard it was a sensor problem. can any experts advice?

i suck in DSLR and my warranty ended already. would i be better off getting a NEW body/ used 2nd hand 700D/750D body?

It means the dust is on the sensor. Google for "how to clean sensor dust" and follow any of the dozens of guides.

FYI, dust on the lens will almost NEVER show up in a picture. If there's visible dust, 99.9999% of the time it's on the sensor.

And you seriously think you should get a new DSLR just because of (normal) sensor dust? You know that it's a normal everyday thing with DSLRs right? You gotta learn basic maintenance!

Buy a rocket blower to blow the dust off the sensor. never use tissue or spec cloth to clean the sensor itself. Or alt u could send it in to svc centre for sensor cleaning which cost ard $20+

Yep agreed! I used to have it too but I've managed to clean it on my own with blower. Try not to use spectacle cloth as it may leave an "oil-smudge" or those kinda smudge you leave behind on glasses when you clean it

I also got this dirty sensor issue, never clean for 2 years liao. I went to TK foto at Funan and buy the LensPen SensorKlear. $10 only nia!

So easy to use and not scary , and now my sensor so nice and clean!
