Dun anyhow flash things.... I believe you also dunnoe what you are doing... Read up more before doing such stuff. And since powercolour rep say gt updated bios, ask them for instructions and for the file.

You should just go down and ask them to for help, telling then that your gpu gt problem and upon googling, some powercolour gpu are affected and new bios can solve it. Then, ask them to help flash.

By telling them that you had alrdy flashed the bios and was unsuccessful, dey can push taiji back to you, saying u dunnoe what u doing and spoil the card, warranty void. They will cover their backside before covering ur warranty.

Recently i tried flashing using this method [Tutorial] ATIWinFlash - How to flash the BIOS of your ATI Cards

But it says no valid adapter is found bios not updated!
anyone got kena this before?

I flash because powercolor rep says that there is small amount of cards have bad bios that made it crash while you play games and i recently kept crashing.

Im using a powercolour R9 290 same crashing in games issue as you & I think our batch is the unlucky batch of R9's with bad elpidia Vram. Went down to Ban Leong they tested it stable on furmark but , its unstable in games.. can crash anytime from 1min - 5 hrs of gaming but stable overnight on occt/furmark/3d mark.

Just a heads up
Couldnt RMA for me as i had a "good" card when i went there , so tell them its unstable on games and test using that. Only After posting here now waiting for their reply for my replacement... I think you should rma.. dont anyhow flash bios later they check then say you flashed before warranty void even worst..

check my thread maybe your having the same issue as me :

Yes no issue with that!
Ah same here but after the driver crash do you get any black screens or artifacting? That's what I'm getting now. If you do then it might be a faulty card.
If not I think it has to be an issue with the amd catalyst drivers itself. Nothing you can do besides trying out both beta and whql to see which is more stable on your pc , flashing the card bios & waiting for amd to update catalyst

Mine is like play halfway crash then a few sec black screen then go back to desktop and say amd driver have crashed and recovered! only certain games like arma 3 but if play games like rust / league of legends wont crash even you play very long

what do u suspect is the probleM?

Driver issues actually... Got the same problem until I switch the bios and reinstall my driver. After that is all smooth sailing until now. Btw get the driver 13.1(not sure what's the exact number) instead of the beta driver... Btw not all games are 100% perfect for all games... So for some games will crash

no 290 got 2 default bios, which can be switch with the mini physical switch. just switch to the bios that you are not using from before, no need to reinstall any other bios or anything. then after that, reinstall your driver. 13.2 can also
