need help with graphic card !

i mainly uses my newly built comp to play dota with my cliques while skyping with them !
once in every while, the screen just will turn to a blank page with grey and black strips horizontally.
the pc is still running in the back as i still can talk to my friends via skype.
any fix on this or anyone know what is causing this..?

Did you overclock?

What happens after the screen starts getting corrupted? Do you have to restart or will it revert back?

nope, no clocking was done.
i have to restart the comp manually.

have you tried to plug out and plug in again the display cable? it could be your monitor that has the problem since as you mentioned you are still able to talk to your friends.
