All the above from newegg

Samsung 850 evo 250gb - from lazada

The entire story:
Initially while I was trying to self build the parts together I met with tons of problems so I had a friend that built desktop before to assist me. After everything it was done the first thing was USB overflowing error, tried until I had to visit sim lim square and the person said it was probably caused by the fan with slower RPM since the BIOs menu always highlighted it in red. The Indian guy swap the fan cables around it was sort of fixed.

When I tried to install windows back at home it was smooth and everything seems working but that's not what it was, I removed the slow fan and finally I was able to load into my ssd and boot into windows. Today I went and install every software I needed including some games to test out the graphic card and was fine but then after the second windows update error occurred - critical_process_died, I was not able to boot into windows.

I turn on a few times, saw there was an error message stating my HDD was having current overflow so I removed the HDD issue solved, second issue was unable to boot into windows with the SSD. I tried using hiren to access, reformating still unable to access the SSD.

Screenshot of the errors: http://imgur.com/a/pnfdn

I was thinking should I visit Sim lim square again to solve this issue?
Am not sure was it because of US products used converter the power voltage causing the problem?

Nothing to do with US voltage. Your PSU, as with all modern PSUs, will work with both US and Singapore voltages.

Looks to be either a MB or PSU problem. In BIOS, you can see the voltages being supplied. Do they look normal?

Remove the WD 1TB HDD first follow by front USB ports connection (if any) before you try to install Windows again, should be Windows7 from the screen shot.

Windows 8.1 Pro, but the dvd drive isn't working properly so I am using portable dvd drive at the moment and it kept showing http://imgur.com/a/pnfdn the 2nd picture

"usb device over current status" yielded a number of results in google search.

Leave all connnectors on mobo free from external USB plugins. Just use the back panels for USB access for time being. Make sure the usb connections(mouse /keyboard), the back IO panel and the mobo usbs are connected properly. Meaning no leakage of power that can transmit to the mobo via the case.

If that fails, try taking the mobo off from the case and troubleshoot from there with bare minimum items.

I had this problem with another Asus mb (ie current over). One possible solution is to clear the CMOS jumper, get a new CMOS battery etc. I know it's stupid idea but somehow the CMOS chip/battery having problem (google and you see some reports). Then put the SSD in the Sata 1 port because one time I put it in Sata 2/3/4 after I installed window, something refuse to start, until I put it back to the sata port when I installed window. If you have spare USB 4GB, you can boot window from it to see if the window load or not.

If that didn't work, remove ram and leave 1. If don't work remove CPU and reseat. Solved mine this way.
