Need help with motherboard.

please help me on a motherboard, looking for durability/longevity.

Should go for the asus 5 yr warranty or other shortlisted board if they are the same


i have shorted-listed to a few motherboard.

Motherboard - GRYPHON Z87

GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - G1.Sniper M5 (rev. 1.x)

ASRock > Z87M OC Formula

ASRock > Z87 Extreme6

If looking for durability, all of them are the same is just a matter of luck whether it's gonna spoil or not. If you really worried I would advise going for Asus for the 5 years warranty. But on a side note are you overclocking or using sli or crossfire? If not b85 vanguard Asus should be ok le

just need a motherboard for durability/longevity. and needed mobo to have optical out for my Av receiver.

my current mobo is a intel DG33FB. i think over 8 year old. and it time for this board to retired. if only intel sell board

since i dont have own a avr before, i think it better to play safe and get a board with optical out, while the gpu HDIM can send the HD audio to the receiver


my idea was to buy a $400 plus gpu but in the end i decided to get a gpu of less then $180

use the extra money and the money for the blue ray and get a PS4.

actually imo most of the quality of the sound are almost the same unless you are super sharp and using high end speakers or headphone then can hear out.
