After seeing some bros here asking advice for new gaming rig, i have decided its time to step to 1440P gaming. I mainly play Adventure, Action, RPG and 3rd Person Shooting game.

I don't play FPS game as it makes me giddy.

I have enough money for a mid high/ high end gaming rig that is mean for 1440P at max settings (pusing the system to the limit)

i don't want to overclock the system. As i almost never shutdown my PC (24/7) as im always downloading movies, stuff. and my room is pretty hot, no aircon.

So i also have to ensure have enough cooling fan on the PC to make sure it doesn't overheat.

Processor: i7 4771
Motherboard: Asus Vanguard B85 or MSI Z87G45 (couldn't decide which is better)
Cpu Cooler: Coolermaster hyper 101 or Xigmatek Gaia ii (couldn't decide which is better)
Ram: G.skill 8GB DDR3 1600 CL 9 ripjaw-x kit
Graphic Card: Asus gtx 780 dc2 oc or Msi gtx 780 gaming twin frost (couldn't decide which is better)
SDD: samsung 840 evo 250gb (for installing programs)
HDD: wd 2tb green (for movies files and mp3)
Optical Drive: samsung 24x dvdrw
PSU: seasonic m12 ii 750w evo full modular or seasonic platinum 1000w (for future proof ?)
Casing: corsair 350D case with window or fractal design R4 with window
Fans: scythe gentle typhoon fan x 2 pcs
Fans: corsair AF 140mm x 3 pcs
Soundcard: Asus Xonar Essence STX or Creative X-fi Titanium HD (Once again no idea which is better, i want crystal clear music and voice in games)
OS: ms win 7 home 64 bit oem ( I don't like win 8, its looks like an app store to me)
Mouse: Death Adder 2013 edition
Keyboard: black widow ultimate 2013 edition
Mousepad: Razer Goliathus Control Edition

your comments will be greatly appreciated.

$3500 is a lot.

You wont need an i7 for gaming. An i5 will do. It does not give you any performance value for that extra money you paid for.

Furthermore please do not bother with soundcard first. Buy a good pair of speakers before you purchase a soundcard.

If you aint overclocking.

MSI B85M G43 + i5-4570 ~ $347
Gskills Ripjaws 1600mhz 2x4gb kit blue ~ $110
WD Green 2tb ~ $106
Samsung EVO 250gb Amazon set ~ approx SGD$199
MSI GTX780ti 4gb Twin Frozr ~ $1035
Superflower HX600 600w 80+ Gold ~ $108
Fractal Design R4 ~ $159
Samsung ODD ~ $21
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OEM ~ $115
Gentle Typhoon AP15 ~ $84 3pieces (Extreme PC)
Qnix Evolution ii QX2710 27inch PLS Panel overclockable to 120hz ~ $339 (Qoo10)

Total ~ $2623. Buy at tradepac. Unless stated

Keep the rest of the money for your peripherals.

Buy a good speakers first and test onboard sounds. After that then think if you need a sound card.

The rest goes to your keyboard and mouse. Word of advise. Drop the idea of razer keyboard and mouse. QC fail.

Thank You for your advice.

im going for swans m50w, seems highly recommended by many here plus im sick of creative, logitech brand which give lousy audio.

can recommendation of keyboard and mouse..?

i only know logitech and razer and probably steelseries.

i want a mechanical gaming keyboard that has led backlit keys so i can game without lights on at night.

Is intel stock fan good enough ?

gentle typhoon x3 is enough to cool a 24/7 on PC ?

Yes. Stock fan is enough. You aint overclocking.

Yes it is enough to exhaust out the heat. All you need to do is make sure it is connected to mobo for pwm control. As and when the cpu is hot the fan speed will increase further.

If you really want to have a backlit keys go for ducky shine dk9008 mech keyboard. Its about $188 from extreme pc.

Mouse can try steel series kanza about $49 from cybermind.

For speakers can try swans mk200ii around $3xx from either pc themes or cybermind.
