Need help with new rig

Hi all,

thinking of upgrading my rig and giving my old one to my mom
I will be reusing my gfx card 1070 gtx.
I will need recommendations for the following parts

1) 24" monitor
2)PSU
3)CPU+ mobo (thinking of getting 7600k)
4)ram( i guess any will do)
budget under 1k

Monitor : SE2417HG for TN panel with low response time. S2316H for IPS panel. (~$150-180)

PSU: EVGA G3 550W/650W (~$140)
CPU+Mobo: R5-1600 + B350M Mobo (~$460)
RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws 3000MHz (~$210)

Prices are just an estimate. Might help others recommend better build if you state the usage of your rig. Games? Video Editing?

yeah will be using back my old harddisk so os all these not needed. chassis wise think will just pick a random one or if you have a nice one to recommend, I am all open to suggestions. Usage will just be daily usage and gaming on games like overwatch

Get ssd perhaps? Old or new system, both can be fast on boot up.

Cooler Master Masterbox series not bad. Cheap and good looking but you might need to add some fan it as most of them only have 1 back fan. Or Tecware F3 also cheap and okay though the cable management a bit hard. Or Tecware F3 elite, a slightly newer one with nicer fans.
