Your Prucash will break even on 17th year. You are now in 14th year.

Mine is now at 20th year still hasn't broken even. Hahaha

cheongking888, you are on 20th year and still not break even. Is it because you have been receiving your yearly cashback bonus? Hence, your numbers (of years to break even) differ from mine?

Fyi, i didn't collect any of my yearly cashback since inception.
Plan Type : PruCash (EC5)

Also, as pointed out by tangent, these type of endowment, will only have bigger surrender value on the last 3years near maturity values (these plans are designed with the bonus to be back loaded near maturiy date...as per tangent).

No. Cashback accumulated since day one.

The reason for higher premium is due to payer rider.

But my Income Revosave also with payer rider broke even at 12th year

Look at the big jump in surrender value between maturity -1 year and maturity. These plans are designed with the bonus to be back loaded. So usually it does not make sense to surrender mid way through or near the end, if you really have to cut loss then maybe only worth surrendering in the first couple of years.

Of course, best is not to buy in the first place.

fully agree.

if someone can come with backloaded commissions :D
if customer make more returns, agents will get more cut. :s22:
