It's a entry board with 4 Sata ports only

If ur budget allows or if u need more Sata ports can consider Msi b85m g43 , around $40 more

Bought with my friend from tradepac last sat:
I5 4570+ asrock h87 performance
Palit gtx 760jetstream
Seasonic m12 620w
Wd black 1tb
Sharktoon t28
Kingston hyperx low profile
Lg OEM DVD drive
(Without os, cough cough go google. And 20dollar assembly) total 1175.
At the moment your build with the case, PSU and windows seems unnecessary for performance

Sorry I meant that those items don't affect performance. But noting that your initial specs items are lower than what my friend bought should be okay. Just that modular will have better cable management. I think 760oc is also better than 7870xt or 270x also ram you could go for Kingston value ram but the HDD WD black is faster. As for mobo asrock h87 is probably cheaper and provide around the same features as the gigabyte

WD black is very fast already. I personally prefer it compared to using the Seagate barracuda as 1)warrenty and secondly performance wise a bitter.. But to save cost one could choose a ssd with barracuda option. ATM for cost to performance ratio wise, I don't see the need for ssd just to improve boot up time by maybe 15 -30 seconds? Assuming a 120gb ssd used mainly for windows and not much of the games are going to be stored on ssd.

I plan to change some parts here and there. My frend told me 7870xt not too bad too. Price around $200-$250/-

I might consider changing my gpu to 270x or gtx760 . Depending on budget limitations.

Have to take into considerations that i have to buy a dualband wireless card too.

7870xt aka tahiti LE is a weaker 7950 which is more powerful than a 7870 which equals 270x

not sure where u manage to find one tho...

if ur basing ur build on the price list they're either all sold out or they are not gonna sell u at the price they sold out at which was ard $300

now 760 is more economical, $$ to performance

where ur friend find this lobang?

Already decided on which parts im going to get. Thanks all for the input.

One last thing is this.
Might be doing slight oc.
Is there a need to get a aftermarket cooler ?

If so , which ones would be preferred ? < $80/-

No longer can you OC on any motherboards, only Z series chipset motherboards allows so.

No point either, the extra money you gonna dump to make it possible will far outweigh the benefit you get from OCing...

No more cheap performance boost... :(

Even so , is there a need to get quieter cpu coolers ? Intel stock are noisy at full load right ?
