Which enrichment class is better for English?

4 Years son currently enrolled in MindChamps but does not see the effects as compared to Berries for Chinese.

British Council. If you wanna learn, may as well learn from the ones who invented the damned language.

I'm not kidding. My nephew goes there. And the pricing not different from all these anyway.

Whatever the nurse or kindergarten teacher is going, is it not enough?

Heard learning lab is better for older kids e.g. Primary school - based on feedback from parents I know

Don't know anybody sending kids to kind champs

British council etc is expensive

Feel more suitable for older kids

At 4 years old, British council don't teach much - or maybe should say most places can't reach much for 4-year old

Yes I saw the effect of Berries but not so from MindChamps. He attended school in the day. From Berries, he can finish a Chinese story book by himself but does not show much interest in English from MindChamps. That is why I am asking if there is something comparable to Berries for English.

those teaching center only useful if the parents can't teach themselves.

if not, parental teaching is best

How often does he child go for lesson?

Once a week?

Like that = 2 activities a week for 4-year old

What about swimming lesson?

Any music lesson?

I'm looking to send my 4-year old for swimming only

Now only send him to school - full day care type

If you're sending your kid to such classes, please make sure you as an adult and parent speak to your kid in proper English and not singlish. Else it's just a waste or money.

Read to your child every night. Start with picture books. After some time, get your child to read with you.

Can try this out while deciding between which enrichment center to send him to.
