Need PSU recommendation

Hi, I need PSU recommendation with distro convenient for westsiders. My usual brands normally have distro in the east.

How are they though? They aren't the usual ones I get. Mobo and GPU I can trust Gigabyte, but not sure about PSU.

For PSU, i think you can only consider Corbell at AMK. They carry seasonic. The rest of the PSU brands distro are at east side.

Rarely see complaints in forum, so mist be good.

Jokes aside, just get 2x Silverstone 500w. Cheap enough to RMA ownself and save yourself the hassle.

Generally a scare tactic.
You get what you pay for hence why I recommended silver stones as a good inbetween choice. Same for any other brand like Seasonic fsp evga corsair cooler master..etc

A system integrator is responsible for the system(s) they build.

Of coz , if one wants to to drop a 1080ti having a tdp of 250w on a vios with a limit of 216w, that is plain silly.

But spending $200 on an uber PSU for a gtx 1030 basic build is also silly, on the other end of the spectrum

So again its all about going back to what the system was put together for. if one intends to oc, do know the limits of your systems and act accordingly.

Reminds me of those who boost their cars and neglect the brakes....

I will not use RMA location as a consideration for PSU purchase.
1)Singapore is not very big
2)If you need to go RMA frequently you probably have a bigger problem with the PSU

Well, that's true. Though sometimes its a bit of RNG with PC parts. I'm checking for a friend, i haven't had to RMA my PSUs yet.

Whether or not these protection circuit works during the bloom period is a heng/suay situation!

Gigabyte is fine PSU wise, it's just a bit pricier.

Actually location based sourcing is a sound idea, something i also subscribe to.
Support is actually an under-rated feature by many peole
Many buy and recommend others to buy based on performance/price but what use is performance when that item requires support ad there is a lack thereof
Performance is only as good as the uptime of that system

Back when Convergent was still in Sim Lim Square 6th floor and OG, The builds i did was solely chosen based on ease of RMA with the distributor Abit Mobo, Andyson PSU, Kingston Ram, Palit GPU. Performance was secondary. Anything spoil, all go back to one source

I believe other distributors like CCDL / Corbell / Ban Leong / TechD also carries a full or close to a full suite of system components

So if someone is in the west, CDL is the closest to the west as most of the others are in UBI / Chai Chee. Uber / Grab / Taxi from Jurong to Chai Chee is not a joke.

Think long time back. I have one 450W one, use with my first generation P4 630 ASUS board. Still in operation. Solid power supply. Think is made by FSP.
