Hi guys, just happen to stumble upon this forum and I was wondering if there is anyone who have a list of psu selling in SG that is semi modular?

Here is an bg on why i need, is because recently my PC suddenly out of nowhere tripped my Circuit Breaker and it tripped on the switch part. But i decided to try another plug to test and see, and end up my whole hse have power trip to the outside breaker.

So im thinking that I should be considering of changing new psu, but not sure of getting a very new one or just get a 2nd hand? since my pc is quite old (like 6 years ago?)

Lucky is that there isnt any burn mark or so. and any weird smell.

Thanks in Advance on any bro could recommend me on the type of psu? :o since i would like my pc to be less cluttered of the extra cables :D

If you would want less cluttered then why a semi modular? Shouldn't you be going for full modular?

To me, the only benefit for full modular is the ability to disconnect all PSU cables and remove PSU from casing without undo and redo the cable management.

Then blast PSU with Metro Datavac blower to clear the accumulated dust.

Semi modular still ok Ma, the 24pin and cpu still needs to be in the rest of the cables can remove if not in use

No lah that's not really my point.

Some psu semi modular comes with 2*8pin pcie for the gpu, if some people build comes with a gtx1060 which only need 1*6pin pcie.

Apart from that the price of semi modular psu is so close to the fully modular ones.

Lastly why limit to just semi modular psu models when there is only a few of it?

There are also other smaller benefits like, if let's say the cables are faulty, at least full modular you can just remove and replaced it.
