Need recommendation for a gaming desktop

Hi all

I'm looking to build a desktop and would need some advice.
I'm looking to play some current/upcoming titles like Watch Dogs, GTA V, Dragon Age Inquisition and some MMORPGs at decent settings (need not be ultra high). I don't plan to OC.
Monitor and keyboard are required, OS not needed.
My budget is around 1.5k.

I have looked through the forum and chose some commonly mentioned parts and gotten their price from Tradepac's pricelist.

I have no preferred choice on the casing, monitor and keyboard so long the monitor screen is not too small.

Can anyone advice me on what to get for the casing, monitor and keyboard, or any changes that I can made to the current chosen parts, so that I can keep within my $1.5k budget. If needed, I'm willing to push up my budget to $1.6k at the most.

128gb ssd isnt gonna be enough though. If can aim for 256gb then go for it.

For case, can get fractal design arc midi r2. Able to meet all of your needs, and it looks good as well.

For monitor, can get Dell S2340L at $219(?). Can try bargain for it.

As for KB, if u wan mech kb, go take a look at cybermind or xtreme. A budget mech kb would be durandal at $99. Decent quality.

I've see that some people are recommending Sharkoon BD28 for the casing and it is priced cheaper than Fractal Design Arc Midi R2, so what is the actual difference between these casing? Can Sharkoon BD28 meets my needs as well?

Sharkoon BD28 u mean? In simple terms, it is a cheap case coz of its simple functionalities. And the material used is cheap and thus makes the case feel flimsy. It can meet your needs for sure. Just make sure u like it or best is if you can go take a look at it.

Personally, cheap cases below $120 or so isnt well constructed.
