Need recommendation to upgrade my rig!

Hi guys, I'd like to upgrade my current rig to play BF4 in medium to high setting with no lag and also to fit in my new 250gb SSD i hoot from amazon.

Current rig:

Window 7 (64bit)
AMD X4 955 processor 3.20GHz
4gb Ram 1333mhz (Cam re-use?)
AMD Radeon HD 5670
1TB HD
I don't remember what my case is, but it's huge, so i guess it can fit any mobo??

Like to re-use:
1TB HD
Optical drive
Casing (Should i change casing too?)
OS
New 250gb SSD
PSU (3 years old, should i change?)

Don't need keyboard, mouse, monitor, OS.

Budget around $1000, but best can go lower.

Mainly use for surfing, torrent and BF4 only. Won't be overclocking.

i think i'll need to push my ram up to 8gb at least too, am i able to reuse the 2x 2gb ram sticks and add another 2x 4gb ram stick??

You can mix the ram so long as it is in same freq.

R9 280x is not overkill for bf4. In fact just nice.

Chassis if you want can get the arc midi or the corsair obsidian 350d at $139

Gtx760 can run ultra with no AA on. At high settings also can run may be with 2xmsaa.

Install your new Windows on your SSD then set it as your 1st bootup disk in bios should do the trick.

Set your boot drive to your dvd or usb for installing win 7. Once at the setup page you able to choose which drive u want to install to.
