Need recommendations: Kaoshiung & Kenting

Hi

We have a party of six going to Kaoshiung and Kenting. Total 6D/5N.

Thinking of going straight to Kenting after touching down in Kaoshiung and spend two nights there then back to Kaoshiung for three nights. Is it advisable to rent a minivan and drive? Or anyone can recommend a minivan plus driver?

its a holiday..why rent a minivan to drive yourself. look for driver to drive you, then you all can relax n snore in taxi. the drive from kaohsiung to kenting aint short..anout 2.5 to 3 hour if i remb correctly.

kaohsiung, you can try kindness hotel or T-hotel. i stayed in both & like them alot. cheap, fuss free room, and friendly staffs.

kenting, you can try minimi inn. you can then inform the owner of minimi inn (Kaiya) that you want to book a cab to bring you all down to kenting. she can advise you on the cost

Hi, you can call a taxi company to bring your party to Kenting. With a party of 6 it'll be easier to get a mini bus. The cost should be 350 per person and it takes about 2 hours to get from Kaohsiung to Kenting.

For Kaohsiung if you have not found a place to stay, you can try for hostels. I recommend Comma Hostel. They have a 6 person bunk, perfect for your group.

I advice that you book early because it is summer vacation for a couple countries, and hostels during these periods are usually full or only have one or two beds left.

TS holiday sounds like my next week one. i staying 2N kenting, then going kaoshiung stay 2N. but mine 2 pax only.
