Need some advice

Hi I am a freshman in a polytechnic taking science course. I got in through EAE(early admission exercise), but i did not do well for my o level result. I failed my english, i got a D7, maths and science both C5, Poa B4, combined humanities B3 and my mother tongue i got a A1. Actually i intend to go a local university, but i research and found out that they will look at my O level result. Im quite worried, im afraid that my english will be the reason why i cant enter a local university. Hope people who are looking at my post to give me some advice and some encouragements so i can have confidence to do well for my poly academics.

Hello,
You can retake English and maybe other subjects. Poly results are still the main components in unis looking at poly and O level results.

Do you have confidence to score GPA above 3.5 for your polytechnic diploma? If no, your GCE O will not help you much.

So your focus now should be on your polytechnic diploma & not GCE O.
