Need some advise on ram

Current CPU + MB is
Intel Core i5-2500K + Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3-B3

Current ram = kingston 12gb DDR3-1333

Current GPU = MSI twin frozr 4 gb N680FTX

1. Will there be increase in performance if i upgrade my ram to e.g. G-Skills RipjawDDR-1600 or DDR-1866 or DDR-2133? either 12 gb or 16 gb

2. Can my current CPU + MB support higher mhz ram?

3. If i stick with my current ram, will it limit the performance of my GPU?

I heard ram speed usually doesn't contribute significantly to overall speed?

U try setting ur Kingston RAMs to 1600MHz under BIOS settings and run the comp. If u dun feel any significant/tangible improvements in computer performance, then no point buying the G-Skill Ripjaws RAMs which are meant for overclocking to higher speeds (2133, 2600, 2866MHz).

Don't waste the money on the ram. not much speed improvement. Get a unit of SSD will improve your overall performance!
