I planed to Change my Cpu Housing, And get the zotac Gtx 1070 8gb Amp extreme, and upgrade 16gm ram. But not sure is a good match or not. And my mobo support only DDR 3 ram.

Up gtx 1080, sell 970 and get another stick of 8gb ram and a bigger ssd maybe.

maybe considered. i got myself a ssd long time ago.

Yup, my frd just told me upgrade ram will do and put on my ssd..

Don't even need to upgrade. At most sell that 970 and get a 1070 and above.

wahaha...

Ddr3 or 4 doesn't matter that much honestly. Unless you're nitpicking or comparing side by side. It's more economical to just add more ram if you're going for some newer titles that need more rams for the background details. Bigger space ssd definitely helps in a long run too.

Only change gpu the 970 doesn't perform up to the standard you want. As it is the most expensive part of the pieces.

I suggested 1080 because your budget is 1k hahaha. But if not needed don't burn unnecessary money :)

Your rig is really still very good. Add a RAM also won't have much impact on performance.

Biggest performance difference is to migrate your games into an SSD instead if you don't already have one.

As per above, GTX 970 performance is on par with RX 480 and slightly below current gen GTX 1060.

If you got the money, no harm getting 1080 and blaze through the games :p.

All depend on the games you play. If you play common titles like Dota 2, lol, overwatch, cs go, etc then 8gb ram is enough. If you going to play bigger titles like gta v, crysis, Witcher 3, etc up your ram to 16gb.

Get bigger ssd and migrate your games there as mentioned by ssxdots, as your loading time will definitely improve.
