I have my computer but it's kinda spoilt so I am hoping to be able to fix it up soon for GTA 5. I am suspecting that the MOBO is causing an issue so I will need to get that replaced as well as my GPU. I have a budget if $800-850

In this upgrade/repair I am hoping to be able to change my case as well to a SG05 and to be able to upgrade to a 970/290x.

I have some questions tho.
1.As I am using an old CPU (i5 3470), Which M-ITX MOBO should I get that will be able to hold the CPU?
2.Will the PSU that comes with the case(a 450w PSU) be able to handle a 970/290x? If not, which PSU(SFX) should I get?
3.As I will be using this in my room, it will look really messy to use an ethernet wire, is there anyway for me to make my rig wireless? As it seems highly unlikely as the board's only slot will be taken by the GPU. What other options do I have?

So here are the parts I have to work with.
Bold parts need to be bought, Budget of $850

CPU: i5 3470
CPU Cooler: Stock
Motherboard: Unknown, Need to find a Mini-DTX, Mini-ITX MOBO that will hold the i5 3470
Memory: corsair vengence 1600mhz 4GB x 2
Storage: Hitachi 1TB
Storage:
Video Card: Thinking of the MSI 290x / 970 armor
Case: SG05
PSU: Will use the 450W PSU that comes with the case

Thank you for taking your time to read this. All advice are greatly appreciated.

Gigabyte h77n wifi ~ $125
leadtek gtx970 hurricane ~ $499
lite on s900 256gb ssd ~ $138

pricing from tradepac and pctheme. do consider get a ssd if budget allows.

the case will only fit cards that are no more then 25cm so gtx970 armor and 290x is out of question

my advice
1) changed to 450W gold or higher, as you are running the ps on the limit most of the time, over time the fan will become more noiser and maybe some comp0nents may go kapoo.

2)install more fan or fan with higher output as you are cramping a lot of heat stuff in a small space. or changed to bigger volume casing.

Thank you! I actually have a SSD but I forgotten to put in the part list! Damn, seems like there is no other GPU that will fit (10.5" max). Either the Leadtek or Zotac's

Do you have any recommendations for a PSU that will fit? Yea! I think I will try to squeeze as many fans in it as possible and might get a after market CPU cooler.

Silverstone sfx 600w, look under pct pricelist.

Ahh thanks! Wow that is quite expensive. Do you think it will be possible to use the 450W that comes with it for short time while I save up enough for it?

Ohh ya, another question. Will I be able to reuse my Windows 7 that I am using for my current rig that is spoilt?

Sfx psu aint cheap, the smaller is it,the more expensive it is. Same goes for mobo. The supplied 450w is fine. Jus dun go crazy on OC.

If ur os is tied to mobo, u need call microsoft to deactivate it. U can tell them ur mobo spoil and need change to a new one.

I guess I will hold on the PSU for awhile. As for calling / email Microsoft, how should I go about doing this?

Thank you

Try googling?

Just did some googling and saw that OEM windows 7 cannot be transfered to another computer and can only be used on the 1st one that it was installed. I did email Microsoft to try my luck tho. Hope it works so I wont have to spend extra cash that I could be using for the PSU on another damn Windows 7
