Hi guys,my computer just died on me and it's really frustrating me. It's unable to startup at all. When I press the power button, it just lights up for a few secs then repeats the same thing over and over again. I even tried changing to a new psu but it doesn't help. Also, it doesn't make the 'beep' sound that it usually makes. Any idea what could be the problem?

No beep sound = POST not complete, which means either your ram or hdd or graphics card or motherboard is spoilt.

Disconnect the HDD, one of the ram, and your graphics card. Power on the computer and see if it beeps. If it does, put back one of the ram and try again. Repeat for the rest of the components and eventually you will have your culprit.

Thanks! Will try doing that.
Not sure if this is relevant, but sometimes it would be able to startup after I leave it there for 4-5days, but it will shutdown after 10-20minutes.

could be overheating of cpu then due to dust accumulation in cpu fan and other fans or the deteriorating thermal paste between cpu and cooler.
