need some opinions on camcorders

hi,

i did some research and narrowed my choices down to these 3 camcorders.

canon legria r48
sony pj 380
jvc everio ex515

anyone here have experiences with these camcorders?
will be much appreciated if you can share it with me.
to others looking for camcorders, which one will you choose?
my budget is around $1000.

Hi heixin I am also looking around for camcorder. Yesterday I tried Canon Legria HF R36 and Sony CX220. I find the Sony model better than the Canon one. In term of face detection, CX220 is able to detect the face much faster while the cannon one is slower and the focus point got problem following the human face where they go. The Sony focus is faster and lock on to the human face without any problem at all. As for image stability and low light, Sony also perform better.

Although the above models are not the one you mentioned, I hope it still able to give you some ideas.
