Can you wait? Ryzen 5000 just launch. It is much better than ryzen 4000.

BTW what is your criteria or needs to your laptop.

Don’t those H cpu consume for power and hotter. Hopefully non gaming laptop can cool them properly to avoid throttling. Also, shorter battery life.

Why not get non pro with U cpu?

Dun need r5000 as it would be too costly.

Yes t1 is overkill but laptop housekeeping such as transferring out data would be every year or so. That’s y need big HD.

As u could see my budget is max 2k and would like the best what I could squeeze out.

Zenbook is about that range as well but the dual screen is abit too modern for me and not too sure if Asus is as good as what it should be with the negative comments in the forum

Another is msi modern at 1400 which is pretty attractive priced so I am not too sure which bullet to bite.

Not really up to date on these processor stuffs.

On rig, it is gg to be a shared laptop with my partner so like abit stylish and not too big for my other half to drag around

Which zenbook u looking at? Look at UX425 or UM425... good enough for daily usage, light and long battery life. If 1TB ssd is not enough, get external ssd or hdd.

Is 1TB enough for you? I've find 2 tb is a good size. I ain't a photographer but I need the space to back up pics and videos of my kids. Lol

If you have the cash, a 2 TB ssd can last you for a long time.

Why not get the newer um425 / ux425. Cheaper, more compact and bigger (67wh) battery. Usb c charging too instead of the gimp display only in ux434

Actually would recommend yoga if you can wait for discount. It’s cheaper but also thicker and heavier.

Also, some reviews seem to say that yoga (non pro) despite having a smaller battery can outlast the zenbook.

If money was not the issue would you go for yoga slim i7 or amd7
(Non pro) or still stick with Asus zen book as per recommendation

MacBook Pro 13 haha ... if Windows isn’t a requirement.

If price is not an issue, is weight / battery / size important? Cause if none of it matter, then just get the cheapest which is yoga. Asus is more expensive but a bit lighter, smaller and bigger battery.
