Hi guys, I have managed to purchase a i5 6500 + Bazooka plus and 2 x 8gb ddr4 ram, now I need suggestions for my case and PSU.

MSI B150M BAZOOKA PLUS + i5 6500 (Purchased)
Corsair Vengeance 2400MHZ 8gb x 2 (Purchased)
R9 270 Gigabyte 4gb (Reuse)
http://graphics-cards.specout.com/l/6132/Gigabyte-Radeon-R9-270X-BattleField-4-Edition-4GB
Intel 240gb SSD (Reuse)
1 TB HDD (Reuse)

Need to get:
Extra cooling fan x 2 or 3
A Case (prefer a build that is quieter)
Superflower Leadex Silver 90+ Full Modular 550W @119 (LAZADA)
WINDOWS OS @30 (REDDIT)

QN:
1. Is 550w PSU good enough?
2. Fans should be 120 or 140mm?
3. Recommendation on case? Probably getting from lazada on 11/11. The gfx card according to specs is 11.7inch / 30cm.

Pardon if I asked stupid qns, first time building it myself

TIA

I also want to dump it, but quite wasted :( Only use for 1yr plus. No resell value too :(

Tecware Alpha Black Window or
Tecware TITAN Full Window ATX Case better??

Don't need to get the GTX1070 yet. Settle your psu and casing.

Silent case are gimmick. Case do not make noice. Only the fans inside does.

Thanks, I'm thinking of going with Tecware TITAN Full Window ATX Case. Will that fit my gfx?

I also have my pc in my room on the table, but do not use aircon, how many fans should I be looking at? PC runs 12hrs average a day, sometimes 18hrs.

Thanks, according to your experience does the silent case really works? or more gimmicky?

imo there is a slight reduction in noise level, but not totally silent, well it's pretty much like what rag say. but depends on the case fans u using and the fans speed that can be controlled manually that makes it silent.

I see, so it's better I get those case like Tecware TITAN Full Window ATX Case, that has a fan control?. Will that fit my r9 270x?

yes it has a fan controller at the top and it will fit.

get 4 of them. 2 intakes at the front, 1 at the back and 1 at the back top.

but still depends if your house is dusty den having more fans is kinda dangerous (means more dust in) and if your room have sun shining on the cpu will make the cpu runs even hotter. having more case fans also no use :s13:

FSP Hexa and Silverflower 550w, price is almost double! What's the diff other than the warranty has extra 2 years? :s22:

FSP Hexa is using normal 80+ efficiency whereas superflower 550w is using 80+ bronze, sliver, gold efficiency.

basically is the power usage load, does it make sure u dun pull out more power than required. (sorry i cant find a good summaries explanation.)

but the the level of those them means it has better energy efficiency (meaning the highest is titanium. )

u can read up more : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/80_Plus

lastly FSP is a cheapo brand but still a good psu. den again their stuff normally can last longer, just that the parts they using in the psu have some age and they know that their parts can only last that long to make sure the warranty ends with the psu been lousy or not that good. =:p
