need suggestions for upgrading

[SingletKoyak]

I have a rig in need of upgrading. Parts that i wanna upgrade is cpu, mobo, ram and maybe psu. My current rig is per listed. used for mostly Fps games. Budget is $500.

Any recommendations?

thanks

Based on your specs, priority upgrades suggested below:

1. RAM - upgrade to 8Gb

2. GPU - upgrade to R9 280 (assuming you're AMD fan) or second hand Nvidia
GTX 770

3. PSU - upgrade to 600W for headroom

I think your CPU can still hold on.

I second this recommendation. Can look at 2nd hand 280x going around 200-260. Upgrade PSU and ram should be good to go.
