Need technology updates advice for desktop pc

Building a pc for Adobe video and graphics editing purposes. Limited funds (hoping 1.5k) and I am looking at using m-atx board, gtx 1660 super and 32gb ram. Won't be overclocking. Intend to use for 5 years.

My questions are:
1. What cpu to use? Targeting at Ryzen 5600X but now there's AMD Gen 4. Which should I go for? Or should go to i7 instead?

2. Should i get DDR5 board and rams?

3. Taking technology and pricings into consideration, which direction should i go? All out ddr5 and amd gen 4 or stay with ddr4 and amd gen 3?

I might be building another lower end pc. If using 16 gb ram on small board that has only 2 slots, should i use 8+8 or 16 single (in case want to add ram in future or want to sell)?

for adobe suite, u might be better off going intel. u can look at the 13500, which when paired with ddr5 can match or even beat the 7600 for a slightly cheaper price. if ur budget allows for an i7 then that can also be considered, though when talking about 1.5k it will be a little tough. seeing as u want to keep using it for quite a while, better to go ddr5.

the 1660s is a 2 gen old card at this point. for the price of it brand new, u can probably find a used 3060 12gb which is considerably faster, and brand new only $100 more. don't bother with the 3050 though.

better to populate both (8+8). u get more optimal dual channel operation, plus when upgrading it will be simpler to get a matching pair of (possibly better) 16+16 sticks than to find another stick of whatever u chose when u first built the pc.
