Hi guys for Taiwan is it better to stay over weekend ? or weekday stay is the same? Got any special events that I can only get to see on weekend ?

Not necessary. It depends on what you will like to do. Fri and Sat nights stay are generally more expensive than Sun till Thurs.

Yup, fri and sat is considered peak for hotels..

The atmosphere in and around night market on weekend night..

For hotel/minsu etc. Generally no more than 50% price increase. So if you can skip, maybe a trip from Sat till Thurs will be perfect. Save on lodging splurge on others.

No matter how safe, still got pick pockets one..

All night markets do not open specifically on a weekend. You reach whichever day doesn't make a difference. But do take note, some only opens a few days a week too.

I heard the crowd on sat is crazy at places like fengjia. I don't think I want to experience the super hard to walk n long q everywhere. Still prefer weekday
