Need Urgent Help

Hi all am needing urgent help as my PC is unable to POST to windows or even BIOS.

Changed my RAM kit today and when I installed it the DRAM led was red. It toggles between a bling red, a slow blink red, and a solid red. I never noticed if there was a pattern. It just happens when I press the memOk button.

Things I have tried are installing the RAM sticks in every single configuration but with no luck. Last I checked my BIOS was resetted to default so shouldn't have any clocking issues. I also went back to Convergent to change my RAM for a second time today but it did not work

Need help urgently as I need my PC urgently for work. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I got tio before. I brought the entire computer to SLS. Heres what the guy did to fix my problem.

1) Cut off all power to the computer
2) Take out the ram and take an eraser and gently rub both sides of the ram for 10secs
3) Put the ram back in. Make sure theres a snap
4) Hopefully solved the problem.

dunno if will help, try clr cmos to clear previous mem trainings from old kit...
below for ref only wrt dram led & memok (seems if memok fails post, it will try 2nd cycle...):

When the system fails to complete POST due to DRAM related issues, the DRAM LED will stay ON constantly.
DRAM LED blinks when tuning DRAM

1. The event of holding the MEMOK! button for 2 seconds triggers the MEMOK! in either TPU or the BIOS.
2. MEMOK! attempts to alter some DRAM related parameter at a time, then check if the system boots OK.
3. In the case of boot failures after the adjustment of DRAM related parameters, MEMOK! will be triggered again, and attempts to try adjusting other DRAM related parameters.
4. Check is system boots OK this time. If not, go back to step 3. If yes, then pass the control back to BIOS for the system to continue POST.
5. BIOS check if MEMOK! has been triggered before the control was passed back to BIOS. If yes, then show the message “MEMOK! succeeds in system booting… ”, and waits for user action.

Tried but didn't help

Cleared cmos but didnt help.

Whenever I press the memok button the computer instantly turns off, then on again, the DRAM blinks slowly, then becomes solid. Unable to press and hold till it blinks.

Are u using ecc rams by mistake?

If not ECC RAM, got try test one stick only?

Nope since I sent the RAM to RMA twice today at convergent. The guy checked with me the second time and also made sure I was using Intel and not Ryzen.

If not ECC RAM, got try test one stick only?

Yea tried every single combo of ram. 1 stick 2 stick all tried.
Nope don't have my old RAM anymore. Sent them back to convergent already. Would have been the first thing I tried if I could :/

Could it be your motherboard RAM slot faulty? Also, I had encounter this. When you press memok, it will blink fast, after that slow, and then it get pass the POST. It is trying to figure out whats the speed and timings needed and then the slow blinks means its almost found a compatible settings. It will restart a few times as it needs to adjust and boot. Try with a single stick of RAM in all the slots.

I had this before on Intel LGA. Just the flex in the board from removing and inserting RAM caused an LGA pin misalignment.

I recommend you re-seat your CPU.
