I may have missed something, but why u are saying to cancel on 11th month? I thought it's 12 month subscription?

Once the credit is in your Nespresso account (credited monthly), you can go to any Nespresso boutique and use the credit. ~I’ve used it at Raffles City Nespresso.

Get the machine on the subscription plan. Pay the $1 and $85 first month subscription. Collect the machine then cancel the plan.

You can still use the $85 to buy capsules and other nespresso stuff. You have to pay for early termination but go work out the savings and thank me later.

In their T&C under “what happens after 12 months subscription term” ...scroll down and see.
They stated that they’ll send u an email 2 weeks before before the term ends, you will need to call them if you want to cancel.

I kiasu abit, will call them 1 month before the term ends.

Added: Juz make sure they deduct 12 months, otherwise it’s considered pre-mature termination!

Yes I read but not sure if it is possible. From Faq, it seem not possible but I read other ppl comment that it is possible. So I am confused and hope old bird here with experience can share their experience.

Lowest price capsule = S$0.74
S$35/month = about 47 cups
Let's assume you order S$70 at a time and get free shipping

Pour Over Filter

Daiso Cone ("Machine") = S$2
Daiso Cone Filters: S$2 per 90 = about S$0.02 each
RedMart Ground Coffee: S$5.40 per 250 grams = S$0.22 per cup (10 grams each)
Price per cup = S$0.24
(With no minimum purchase commitment.)

I haven't found the Nespresso to be particularly convenient, certainly not more convenient enough to justify 50 cents per cup extra. You've got to clean the machine once in a while, and that's a pain. The cone filter approach doesn't involve a lot of cleaning. You just throw away the filter, rinse the cone, and you're done. If you want to use more than 10 grams (one scoop) of coffee per cup, go for it. And you're not killing the environment with those capsules, even assuming they're recycled.

Nope. I buy those, too. Ground or bean, as I prefer. I can even fashion a custom blend if I want.

People can spend money however they want, as long as it's legal. Personally I haven't figured out yet why I should pay Nespresso ~50 cents (~3X) more per cup. To each his/her own, of course, but these are among the "Money Mind" considerations worth keeping in mind.

1) Machine they delivered is brand new Bro.
2) When I was at Raffles City, saw the explorations box, as my Nespresso account had like $3+ remaining, used that balance and paid the difference in cash for it.
3) The credits in the account can be used to purchase anything in their store, not only the exploration set.

Again, if your family coffee consumption is low, you should NOT be signing this 1-year subscription.
