I guess everyone has different approaches to marriage

If my wife earns more than me doesn't mean that I want to spend her money. I also don't find it 'shiok' to spend other people's money. I feel more satisfied reaching financial independence by earning, saving, and investing my own income. But to each his own.

Those who feel shiok spending other people's money may want to look for wealthy spouse... just make sure they earn more than they spend so they have cash left over for you

We're all taught to earn our own money and that mooching off someone is really detestable.

That was my mindset when I started work. Now as I grow older health issues start to crop up and still need to give ppl monies spend slowly change my mindset. I prefer to take other ppl monies spend instead afterall I give ppl monies spend so many years

Indeed the Chinese saying is true find a wealthy wife like boss daughter or boss herself you really less work 10 years indeed. Dun believe when young but as you grow old it become more truer than ever.
