Hi bros I'm not sure is this the right place to post about this problem

Ok last week my hdd died on me and I bought a new one last night a WD 1tb one and reinstalled windows xp on it

Everything was ok until I realise I couldn't connect to the Internet - im using direct connection for this pc and the router is connected to it too

The wifi is workin fine I can access the wifi on phone & laptop so the Internet connection is not faulty, I called starhub to see what's the problem and upon troubleshooting with me, the cso said most likely is network card/adapter not connected to motherboard

I have no idea how does a network card/adapter looks like and I didn't had this problem prior to using this new hdd

Please advise what I should do bros...thanks and very much appreciated

i think you need to install the LAN driver. maybe you can get a friend to download and put into a thumbdrive and install it over at your comp ?
