Hi,

I am new to this forum. I am seeking for advise from professional here. I am a fresh dip grad, ord-ing in less than a month time. Currently looking for jobs in networking and pace myself to security or infrastructure. I'm planning to take up certifications and part time degree in a span of 5 years.

What would be an acceptable amount of salaray I should expect for a network engineer role?

Would starting in network engineer role that is relating telecom be relevant or a good place to start? or should I go for a more technical job?

Hope some of you here could advise.

Thank you.

Certification
In that case, I would suggest taking up Cloud Computing and Security. That is the future where most tech are moving towards and also because it is in demand.

Take advantage of the CITREP II funding that the Singapore Government is providing for the courses.

The courses suggested above are also supported by the GSTF

Pay Scale
