Using pcthemes price list to get the prices:

Asrock H81M-HDS+i3 4160 (238)
8gb kingston DDR3 ram (61)
Toshiba 1tb HDD (65)
Win 8.1 OS (135)
Samsung DVDR (25)
Zotac 750ti (219)
CM 343 w PSU (89)

Total: 832

If no need DVDR then don't get it. Get a better PSU like FSP hexa 450w and consider CM n200 instead?
OS can buy the key from online source like g2a. Save some money.
That's what I think. The rest of the items are pretty standard

Casing wise, $89 (CM 343) vs $68+$61/66 (FSP Hexa + CM N200 no window/window)

128gb SSD ocz and adata cheapest if you want to buy from shop. If can wait get zotac ssd from lazada 128gb ($59) cheaper. Comes with warranty also. Make sure the seller is tech dynamic. 240gb like not listed on lazada anymore....Can still use promo code for more discount..

Nobody uses DVD anymore.
:D

Actually my new MSI mobo after I installed Windows didn't even have any internet connection. Had to put in the driver CD and load up the Drivers before I got network connection. If no CD drive a lot more troublesome, would have had to download the driver on another PC from the website, copy to thumb drive then install

CASE: Corsair Carbide 100R @ $66+8"

Usually when i burn Windows installer on thumbdrive, i will include all the software drivers in another folder to facilitate installation.

If it's me I would dump the SSD and top up $50 and upgrade 750ti to 960 GTX.

This should be ideal now...

CPU+MB: Intel Core i3-4160 + ASRock H81M-HDS R2.0 @ $237 (PC Themes)
RAM: Kingston ValueRAM DDR3L-1600 CL11 8GB @ $47+3"
GPU: Palit GTX 950 2GB StormX Dual @ $225+3*
Notably more powerful than GTX 750 Ti and just 15% weaker than GTX 960.
SSD: Transcend SSD370S 128GB @ $60+3^
HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB @ $77 (PC Themes)
PSU: FSP Hexa+ 550W [80 Plus] @ $59+3`
CASE: Cooler Master N200 @ $52 (Video-Pro Online)
Can do a store pickup.
OS: Microsoft Windows 8 Professional 64-bit Product Key [OEM] @ $30 (Reddit)
