Try Plex or Air Video - it streams any content (i.e. non-iTunes) wirelessly to your Apple TV from a NAS/PC. This capability along with AirPlay is worth the whole price of the ATV for me. Everything else (apps, Siri) is just bonus.

both apps must pay for basic viewing of our movies? or pay only for advanced features?

The Apple TV AirPlay is very sluggish especially for video. Wonder anyone have any solution?

I feel the same. Its worse when subtitles are involved. Suspect its my wifi signal considering i'm using a dual band AC router already.

Can't be wifi la. I did speed test and it is quite fast. Also you are using dual band AC router already. Weird, not sure whether it is my MacBook Pro firmware issue. Maybe I test with iPhone later

My 6yr old daughter loves the free games. Prob is she drops the remote often.

Geesh considering the remote is ex. Why no 'condom' casing?
I dun wish to spend $18 on a cord.

Damm any idea if Singapore has this.

AirPlay quality is based on the strength of your wifi signal, not your internet speed. But new Apple TV should be using wifi directly from the your Apple device, bypassing your router altogether.

It has been smooth for me so far, so not sure where the problem might be.

Downloaded air video. Was able to play a bunch of HD Garo videos I downloaded off the net. Very nice. :s22:
