Updated info as of 28102015:
But, whether the Siri capability across both country's ATV'15, are equivalent, is yet to be determined.
Indeed.
Am interested to find out as well. On the other hand, how do you purchase the US editions? Order directly from US store & then use forwarder?
Is there a difference in output quality between:
1) airplaying a media file from my iTunes library to the ATV,
2) playing back a media file on my iOS device (using VLC for e.g.) & then mirroring my iOS device screen to the ATV?

The US version comes with "Siri remote" whereas SG version comes with "Apple TV Remote". It looks exactly the same. Apple TV Remote also have the Siri button. I think even though you get the SG version of the new Apple TV, you can still use Siri as long as you set the region to US.
This is indeed weird why apple didn't integrate Siri into SG directly. Maybe it's licensing issue with the movie searches.
check out apple sg & apple main site
...But it seems like Singapore's Apple TV will not come with Siri function...
Indeed.
...Any idea if I purchase the TV from overseas (e.g U.S), will it work in SG?
