I will buy this any time over m550, thou this is just my preference ;)

With its good pricing, if this had been out earlier, I would have bought this over samsung evo.

few bucks diff should just get evo or pro. smashes this performance wise

That few seconds doesn't really count much...

to each his own bah. to me i would want to save 10-20 seconds easily everytime i copy a large file or unzip or 2-3 seconds everytime i start up in exchange for $30 more

In the time you can over a year you can definitely earn that money back :s13:

M550 is a drive for a non-existent market. M500 is a reliable drive for the cheapo market. MX100 picks up where the M500 left off with a shrunk process node.

@Yureak, for normal users, $30 diff can be a budget breaker. Just sayin

i use it as a daily drive but normal hdd as archive

i do put games i play very often in it eg. Bf4 so loading times are low

however there are many instances where you will face when you will still end up copying stuff to your desktop because its just easier

hahaha i think good for users like me who only watches anime daily ba. Btw is it worth it to hoot from amazon too? its 109 usd IIRC

Micron (16nm) will wait for Sandick/Toshiba (19nm) to drop prices further first, then only will undercut them
