No, it probably cools the DDC pump.
DDC pumps aren't cooled by the fluid, unlike D5 pumps.

i see, thanks for the heads up. Always see people recommending D5 pumps over any other, are D5s priced more expensive over DDCs though?

D5s perform better and make less noise while doing so.
They're only slightly more expensive as well.
The problem with them is that they tend to be bigger, and they add thermal headroom into your loop because they dump their heat into the loop.
DDCs do not dump heat into your loop and are smaller.

True, this pump cooler is good becoz ddc tends to run hotter thats why sometime you will hear ppl burnt out their DDC. This cooler adds in Not only aesthetics but also passive cooling for the pump. Another good product. If not wrong Koolance and EK has the same kind of product but Bitspower a lot more chio plus more coLor choices and bestbos its milled frm Aluminium!
