Mobo - Msi b450m mortar max
Ram - Corsair vengeance Rgb pro 16gb
Ssd - gigabyte 1tb
Hdd - Toshiba 2tb
Gpu - zotac gaming rtx 2080 super amp core Rgb
Psu - super flower leadx III 750w 80+ gold full modular rgb
Cooler - cooler master hyper h410r rgb
Case - Lian li pc-011 dynamic razer

Yeah this build is a little over my budget it's like $100 over so I guess it's still ok. If I go for rtx 2070 super then it will be in my budget

ive heard that if u want ssd + hdd combo, ideally the hdd should be 4x the size of the ssd, otherwise not worthwhile. so u can downgrade ssd to 512gb and save some money.

other than that the other parts look good.

A few issues with this build IMO.

1. I know case choices are subjective, but you might want to reconsider.

Putting a MicroATX motherboard inside ATX case won't look that good. Also, many popular air coolers cannot fit inside the PC-O11 Dynamic, like the Hyper 212 Black/RGB, Gammaxx 400, NH-U12S etc.

Can consider Meshify C mini if going for MicroATX size.

2. Why spend extra for RGB stuff? RAM, CPU cooler, PSU??!! Like PSUs really no point getting RGB, cos it's hidden at the back of the case.

3. The SSD is not the PCIe Gen 4 one right, cos B450s don't support that.

Save a few dollars here and there can keep within budget alr.

Thanks guys for the advices, it's going to be my first build so there's alot of stuffs I'm not familiar with. I was going to build an atx for future proofing instead of matx but don't know which atx Mobo is better for my budget and stuffs. Would like to keep it at 2080super if possible.

I just want to say that now is probably the worst time to build a PC. A lot of stuff OOS and prices have been rising.

For ATX, I would normally recommend the MSI B450 Pro Carbon AC, except it is probably out of stock forever. B550 is launching next month but no idea when stock will arrive locally.

MicroATX is fine actually, most people don't need that many PCIe slots.

I prefer PCIe WiFi cards, a very good one like the AX200 is probably around $40-50, cheaper ones like the Intel 9260 $30-$40.

Prices below are just a guide, you need to go search around and see if you get it cheaper. $2.5k give or take

Mobo - I using the same one (with onboard wifi). not the best, but I've no issues with it.

The rest are okay.

But don't skimp on the psu. Go for something more reliable than Coolermaster. Look at model specific reviews, brand doesn't say it all.

Psu dont get coolmaster , i bought their highend one only 4yrs uplorry .

update - done some research again... haha, now it's down to thermaltake toughpower grand 750w 80+gold or superflower leadx iii 750w 80+ gold

Replace the SATA SSD with an NVMe one as its connected directly to the PCIe lane. If your getting a B450 get the cheaper PCIe 3.0 NVMe. PCIe 4.0 NVMe's are the expensive ones.

I see you changed your motherboard later to the x570 which is a good move as you will be future-proof to a certain extent but this may blow your budget out of the water especially with the NVMe gen 4 you added. I bought the exact same one!

I mean the Ryzen 7 3700x is a lot better than the Ryzen 5 3600, so...

PCIe Gen 4 is not worth it, get a Gen3 NVMe like the Transcend MTE220S if you really want. I never noticed a difference between my NVMe and SATA SSDs anyway.

I don't really like Coolermaster stuff, so yeah. Get something else.

The CPU cooler is not great for the price.
80 Plus Bronze PSU with a 2080 Super is not the best idea.
Case choice can end up saving a lot of money.

PSU can get Seasonic, Superflower or FSP.
Case have a lot of choices. I like my NZXT H500/510, some other good ones like Phanteks P300A/400A, Deepcool, etc.
CPU cooler can get Deepcool Neptwin RGB, Dark Rock Pro 4.

Honestly if you like RGB that much then maybe you don't need the performance. In which case I don't see why I need to be here

this thread already have some casing recommendations. some of them like the cm nr400 can just nice accommodate 165mm cooler.
