New built PC wont boot

I just assembled PC. Here are the specs:

• Intel i7 7700k
• Asrock Z270M Pro4
• Cryorig H7
• Corsair Vengeance 16GB 2400MHz
• MSI Gaming GTX 1080
• FSP Hydro G 650W
• Fractal Design Mini C

I connected the PC's Display Port from GPU to my monitor's mini Display Port.
I pressed the power button then all case fans and CPU fan spinned, Case LED and GPU LED turned on, but my monitor did not detect any connection.
Do you have any suggestion how to check which component is problematic?

No display at all, it is the same as if I did not connect my monitor to any computer. Currently I am using my monitor with my macbook everyday. The monitor works fine. The difference setup is that I connect my macbook's mini DP to monitor's DP, while I connect PC's DP to monitor's mini DP. But I doubt it is the issue.

Did you plug to the GPU video out and not the motherboard video out?

Any error beeps or LED on the motherboard?

I can confirm it is from GPU's DP. The motherboard does not have DP, only HDMI and VGA.
There is no beep sound or LED flashing from motherboard.

Yes I plug those CPU pins from PSU, and also 24 Pins motherboard from PSU, very tight until I cannot even pull it out anymore lol.

I somewhat suspect CPU problem. If CPU is the problem, then will the sign is the same as my current PC issue?

maybe you can try a different cable and port first.
or take out the gpu and use integrated gpu,if you have.

Got change the monitor's input selection?

The motherboard(integrated graphics) to monitor can work? maybe need a driver for ur gpu to talk to ur mobo

Yes, GPU to PCI-E motherboard, and both 6 pins and 8 pins to PSU.
