Which A series are they hoping to surpass? The A10?

They can't even surpass the previous-generation Qualcomm for their recent flagship chipsets. And I'm considering all factors - performance, process, battery life.

By 2025, Apple and Qualcomm don’t know reach what stage already. Exynos catch up, we shall wait and see…

Until recently, Exynos chips were also using their in-house Mongoose cores. However, CMI so they abolished it and switch to generic Cortex designs.

Not sure how they can make it better than their previous attempt.
