New CPU Cooler Thermal Paste

Hello, just bought a new Scythe Mugen 5 for CPU cooler for my CPU.

I know that the old thermal paste needs to be removed by alcohol before applying the new one. Not too good at these. Must it be 99.9%, and is there any differences between isopropyl alcohol and the rest? Currently looking at one from shopee and one from watson, not sure which one more applicable, can anyone advise?

Normal wet wipe enuff. No need fancy2

ive been using watsons ipa with no issue. anyway just make sure the ihs is clean before reapplying paste, no need so exact what 99.9%.

Some will buy wet sand paper grit number 5000 or 7000 to place on glass surface to polish the flatness of cooler after remove the paste, not sure anyone still practice this.
