Ok but we need more info.

1. Which part do you stay in sg? North south east or west?
2. Are you planning to overclock?
3. Are you intending to crossfire or sli graphics in the current or future?
4. Need OS?

If no one help u, I recommend u tmr morning. Lol.

Btw, need OS and are u over-clocking?

Basic parts for ur budget should be a MSI B85 board with 8Gb of ram n either a gtx 760 or a sapphire/powercolor 7950 bah. And a 128gb/256gb plextor m5s SSD with a WD Blue 1TB hdd. Psu go with Seasonic 620w.

In bed now n lazy to assess price list on mobile. Lol.

why u need to know were TS stay?? it has nothing to do with the build

The warranty purpose plays a part. If you stay at pasir ris. And we recommend you get gigabyte mobo. And the warranty is at clementi. You willing to go all the way there to service?

My recommendations:

Mobo+CPU: MSI B85-G43 +i5-4570 - $382
Gfx: MSapphire HD7950 3GB OC with Boost - $415
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws-X 1600MHZ 8 GB (4GBx2) - $105
SSD: Plextor M5S 256GB - $259
HDD: WD Caviar Blue (1TB) - $85
PSU: Seasonic M12II-620W - $125
Casing: CM Storm Scout II Black - $159
OD: LG 24x DVD-RW Sata OEM - $25
OS: Win 7 Home Premium (64bit) - $120

Prices quoted for PCThemes.. U can look at other pricelists also.. :)

Either get GTX 760 or get HD7970. HD7950 no longer worth getting.

Why not? I stay at AMK does it mean i have to buy everything related to corbell? :D

It all depend down on what you want and the price. Distro location play a part, but not really that important.

Plus, you can always work with the distro to rma via mail? so you don't have to go all the way down. i think most distro can do that

Based on assumptions if you are doing mild overclocking and living somewhere at the north region also would want to have great expandabilty of upgrade path like able to sli or xfire in the future.

I recommend:

Msi z87-g45 gaming + i5-4670k ~ $517
Gskill ripjaws 1600mhz 2x4gb kit ~ $95
WD blue 1tb ~ $87
Plextor m5s 128gb ssd ~ $139
Palit gtx 760 jetstream 2gb ~ $369
Seasonic m12ii 620w ~ $118
Sharkoon t28 ~ $87
Odd ~ $24
Windows 7 64bit home premium ~ $15

Total $1551 @ tradepac.

I need not say that everything has to be with corbell. Just saying that if I could walk to corbell in less than 5mins why spend so much trouble travelling? Yes price and what we want is another thing to consider.

No point. When you mobo down at any point of time you see you got the time to contact them via mail. Confirm you on fire liao stil have to wait. And components going thru mail??? Nah risky of damaged components done by mailer.
