What does the T represent? And why the switch?
what letter comes after S in alphabet? why? cos S used finish all combinations for the convention already lah...
EDIT: so there is somebody out there holding SYY99999Z NRIC....
actually come to think of it... got so many SG citizens until 999999[A to Z] in a single year??????

Since late 60s, citizens' IC no. started with S followed by the 2 digit birth year. But they can't use it for those born after 2000 since boomer IC no. are also S00.... So they switched to the next alphabet after S, ie T lo.
