Y insurance companies happy leh?
You think the driverless bus will be accident proof ?
Considering the driving habit of the driver here and dashing across road of the pedestrians.

The acting guy may be hoodwinked due to his inexperience.

“(It) may well be you have somebody on board that does different things,” Mr Siow said, noting that this may be to help load luggage, aid elderly passengers in boarding, or lead a tour group.

So like introducing d school bus auntie on public buses?

So many elderlies now n those with trolleys. Will hold up d q behind boh?

Lead a tour grp? Huh?! 😂

Please forgive him.
He did not climb the ladder.
He was "rocketed".
Sound like he "know everything" from his recent speech.

I'd like to see how this pans out. like the "driverless" trains. In actual fact, there is still someone needed to monitor the train in the leading cabin. So I guess more "monitoring" jobs will be created. same same but different. cos dont think you can have 1 person monitoring more than 1 bus.
China has one person monitor up to 20 robotaxi. They only need to help the robotaxi make decisions in complicated road conditions or manual takeover remote drive the robotaxi.

Lesser jobs for sure. Jeffrey Siow is slowly unravelling to show his true colors. Certified lizard.

The wheelchair ramp still needs to be manually deployed unless lta automate the ramp and driverless ai can monitor the ramp deploying no obstruction and people.
