New laptop / battlefield 4

Hi, looking for laptop preferably asus but other recommendations if you guys know any to play battlefield 4 on proper settings and not low or mediocre. Willing to fork out 1.8k.
Enlighten me how heavy are the asus g class laptops.
Any thoughts on the asus g55vw. (G75 also)
Not really looking at aftershock.
I understand better performance laptops are higher but would like something that is less than 3kg

Just my two cents, play BF4 on a desktop instead of laptop seriously
especially since you looking at high settings.

Not sure if you are aware that the Asus G75 is not going to be less than 3kg. In fact, its heavier than 4. I have my doubts the G55 is going to be below 3.

Even if BF4 could be played at proper settings, the laptop battery will be drained very quickly.

Can't game on battery for long man. The top end laptops usual can't last beyond 30 to 40 mins when you are gaming, and the hardware will not run at full speed.

On the lower end, it can last an hour or more.

Gaming on a gaming grade laptop def required you to look for a wall plug as often as possible.

agreed on the desktop option. if not, you could always consider the Blade if you can get past the absurd screen resolution. MSI Dragon Series, Toshiba Qosmio, and perhaps Aftershock to a certain extent could be considered.

if im not wrong g55 is around 3.5kg g75 is around 4kg

Im not actually sure if those are within your budget anyway.
